Hi, I’m Kelly Grapentin.
This Michigan native moved to Southern California in 2005, where I found myself immersed in Spanish, Mediterranean and Coastal design. Now in North Carolina, Traditional, Cottage, Low Country and Transitional have been more prevalent and equally wonderful to work with.
My experience includes new construction projects and renovation projects, letting me assist homeowners with details and selections that result in the ideal environment for their lifestyle and budget.
The two years I spent working with an established design firm was time well spent. In 2007, I opened my own interior design business in California. I put my business on hold in 2015 to spend time with our three very young children. In 2018, we moved to North Carolina and my interior design business is flourishing once again. This is an exciting area for design and I'm thrilled to be here!
I now spend my time helping clients assess the needs for projects, costs, design and development issues, floor plans, furnishings and color palettes. Making theses decisions can be overwhelming and time consuming and I use my training and experience to present the right choices efficiently.
